ABOUT US

The teacher featured in this first DVD, Jennifer Book,  is an experienced tutor from the University of Sussex, England.

She’s been training people to teach English as a foreign language for more than a decade both in the UK and abroad.

The lesson was shot, directed and edited by an experienced team of BBC-trained broadcast professionals so is very high quality.

Testimonials

…very well-produced, divides a lesson up into logical and relevant sections, gives helpful, clear hints and tips and will be very useful on teacher training courses.
Jenny Johnson, Academic Director, Cactus Worldwide

..it is unusual to find a professionally filmed video of a classroom situation. The series will therefore fill a useful niche in an ever-developing market.www.tefl.net

…techniques (such as) drilling, peer correction, elicitation clearly shown in a natural way. Confident, experienced teacher so good model to follow. Bright, modern feel to the DVD. Very well-produced and an effective tool to be used in CELTA training. Cathy Oxley, Director of Studies, English First, Manchester

The quality and editing of the video give it a very professional feel. The chunking makes it easy to use with trainee teachers. They can focus on one element of the class at a time. I like the format with a commentary, which gives a rationale for what the teacher is doing. Duncan Foord, Course Director, Oxford TEFL

Great new training video. Just what we’ve been waiting for. At last we’ve escaped from the seventies – and nicely broken down into usable chunks. I am looking forward to more in your series.Raymond de Witt, CertTESOL Director, University of Sussex
